A Reality Star will be added to make a team of 4. A fundraising page is automatically opened for you and you will receive the information, customize the page and start fundraising if you want to choose your Star from our list. If a team wants a specific Reality Star on their team they must raise over $1000.00 by January 30th 2012 to choose in rank order of funds raised, based on availability.Under $1000.00 you are randomly assigned a Star.Teams will be given route instructions taking them throughout the community to Challenge Checkpoints driven by the Reality Rally Transport Team only. They will choose the order of their route and complete all the challenges at each checkpoint that are designed to be physical, mental, silly and fun. These challenges are designed and hosted by our community partners that highlight what Temecula has to offer during the year. The Old Town Temecula Gunfighters, The Community Theater, The Saturday Market, The Rod Run, the Museums and more thus promoting our town and what we are so proud of. Tools of the Trade at the Temecula Museum Do you know what a cooper is? Have your children ever heard of a cobbler? Join us at the Temecula Valley Museum for a fun look at antique tools used in many trades that today have permanently changed due to tool modernization. Before the age of electronics, most jobs were done by skilled workers who did not have GPS, cell phones, computers or lasers. Tasks were accomplished by hand with special tools, done by individuals trained through special training or an apprenticeship. This Saturday, January 28th, join us for the opening of our new exhibit "Tools of the Trade." The museum will display tools for such occupations as auto mechanic, blacksmith, carpenter/cabinetmaker, cobbler, cooper, granite quarryman, seamstress and surveyor. Take a look at some antique tools used by local workers who still live in the Temecula Valley and pictures of local businesses. Learn about artisans who took pride in their jobs done manually, that today are done in seconds by robots and other machines. This will be a fun exhibit for the whole family. The exhibit will be on display at the museum from January 28th through April 1st.
