HISTORY
The Old Town Community Theater is a contemporary, state-of-the-art
proscenium theater in the heart of Old Town Temecula. The theater can be
accessed on Main Street through the historic landmark Mercantile
Building from the 1890's and exemplifies the City of
Temecula's motto
"Old Traditions New Opportunities"
Both the theater and the Mercantile Building will be available to the
community for the production and presentation of artistic events such as
concerts, musicals, plays, dance, youth theater, and visual arts
exhibits.
The theater was built in big part by the efforts of the Theatre
Foundation and many wonderful private donors made this facility a dream
come true for the city of Temecula.
