Christmas…the most wonderful time of the year….Bah Humbug.
Based on the beloved Charles Dickens novel, A CHRISTMAS CAROL tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a bad-tempered miser who learns the value of love and family after he is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future. The Lynn Ahrens/Alan Menken musical version premiered at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on December 1, 1994, and was an annual tradition for ten years.
This year it’s coming to Temecula…
There are many adaptations of A Christmas Carol out there, but only one Broadway version!
· Come prepared to sing a one minute audition song: sheet music or CD without vocals
· Actors will learn a short basic movement on Saturday, September 22nd. Please come dressed properly for movement.
· A headshot and resume’ (or photos will be taken at audition)
Auditions will be held at the Old Town Temecula Community Theatre

Roles Available:
Ebenezer Scrooge: hard-hearted, tight-fisted man of commerce (Male ages 24 – 40)
Bob Cratchit: Scrooge's assistant, a loyal and diligent employee (Male ages 20 – 35)
Mrs. Cratchit: Wife and mother of full family, sweet & gentle (Female ages 20 – 35)
Tiny Tim: Everyone's favorite; charming stage presence (Male ages 6 – 10)
Fred: Scrooge's nephew, a child-like enjoyment of life and family (Male ages 20 – 35)
Ghost of Jacob Marley: Scrooge's late business partner (Male ages 25 – 45)
Ghost of Christmas Past/Lamplighter: sweet, and joyful. Full of life (Male or Female)
Ghost of Christmas Present/Sandwich Board Man: Show stopping performer (Male)
Ghost of Christmas Yet to Be/Old Hag: Frightening and sinister (Female)
Mr. Fezziwig: Man under whom young Scrooge served an apprenticeship (Male ages 30 – 60)
Mrs. Fezziwig: Wife of Fezziwig, full of joy and spirits (Female ages 30 – 60)
Emily: Scrooge's old girlfriend (Female ages 17 – 28)
Not to mention about 10 other speaking/singing parts, and plenty of roles for children!
We’re also looking for a group of talented tappers for a big show stopping production number. Girls ages 16-28 with previous tap experience.
Rehearsals begin the last week of September!!
