Once again, P&R Productions pulled off a great car show event. Inclement weather did not keep away thousands of car enthusiasts for the Temecula Rock N' Rod Show which went on without missing a beat.
Promoters did an excellent job in keeping everyone organized and focused when rumors about a hail and snow storm were "cruising" around town.
Friday afternoon was cool and wet, but die-hard fans turned in the thousands to open the festivities. Saturday morning the weather looked a little more promising in the early hours until around 11:30 am. A hail storm hit Old Town Temecula. The storm was all bark and no bite and it only lasted a few minutes. It quickly passed without causing any damage to cars property, or keeping fans from enjoying the show.
Local residents and people from all over the country came to admire hundreds of restored vintage cars and enjoy great entertainment, which was a tribute to the Platters, The Fifth Dimension and The Comodores.
If the weather kept you away, you missed a great show and great entertainment. Be sure to mark your calendar for the next event scheduled in early October 2006. Click here for more details.
