The Temecula Farmers’ Markets are heading into spring with a wide variety of plants, trees (including fruit trees), shrubs and herbs, flowers and bedding plants.  Spring is the perfect time for planting.

For your planting needs there is planting mix, worm castings and rock dust.  Worm castings may be the finest organic fertilizer you can utilize in your garden.  Rock dust remineralizes the soil for vitality, nutrition and taste.

Many people ask, “Just what is organic growing?”  Organic growers use no pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers in their growing practices.  They endeavor to build live soil that will sustain healthy, nutritious plants and trees year after year.  Plants have immune systems just like you and me.  Good nutritious soil feeds this system guaranteeing a healthy plant and nutritious fruit.

Stop by the market for a visit with the farmers to learn even more.  Pick up some avocadoes, fresh greens, Maui onions olive oil or a fresh dressing for a light, healthy spring salad.
