Kati Biszantz, LPGA Class A Life Member and former Touring Pro, has been honored by the LPGA Western Section as Teacher of the Year for 2006. Ms. Biszantz has been in the business for more than 30 years and currently teaches men, women, and juniors at Practice Golf Center in Menifee.

Golf Magazine has also again selected her as a Top Regional Instructor for 2007.

Ms. Biszantz was one of 450 teachers chosen out of over 25,000 teachers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.  She had to complete an extensive questionnaire on teaching philosophy, style, education and development, experience, awards won, and student success stories.

A committee comprised of the staff from the University of Georgia’s Sports Instruction Lab – the nation’s only college lab designed to study how sports are taught – made the final determination.

More information can be found in the March issue of the magazine.
