Exclusive Engagement to be Filmed for Broadcast Around the World
Legendary FREE bassist, and songwriter of one of Rock’s all-time anthems “All Right Now,” Andy Fraser today announced that he would be performing two rare live concerts, to be held at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater on Thursday, May 4, at
7:00 pm and 9:15 pm, in Temecula, CA.
Powered by a seven-piece band, the shows will be taped for broadcast around the world and will be highlighted by new renditions of classic Fraser compositions like “All Right Now,” “Mr. Big” and
“Every Kinda People,” alongside material from his latest album, Naked…And Finally FREE.
As a celebration of the creativity and endurance of one of Rock’s greatest songwriters and musicians,
the shows come after months of speculation and encouragement by fans new and old that the reclusive legend should jump back into the limelight.
In the past year alone, Fraser has made up for lost time in a big way. Not only has he recorded an album which many have hailed as the best and most intuitive of his career, he has also been featured at major media outlets, including VH-1 Classics, Sirius Radio, ABC Radio, Launch Radio, The New York Daily News and the Associated Press, among others, and has joined the Podcast Revolution with “Welcome to My Closet,” his intimate video podcast series which takes viewers inside the life and the thoughts of a unique and uniquely honest musician:

About Andy Fraser
Famed FREE bassist and songwriter Andy Fraser breaks a near decade-long musical silence with “Naked…And Finally Free,” an album that blends Blues, Rock and African music into an artistic triumph over the myriad of personal problems the rock legend has experienced in recent years. “Naked…” takes the listener on a journey through battles with depression, major neck surgery, cancer, AIDS and a 15-year struggle with sexuality. Fraser’s sense of peace is hard-won after a life lived during the heights of excess in 1960’s and 1970’s London. Now residing in California, Fraser joined FREE at the tender age of 16 from JOHN MAYALL'S BLUES BREAKERS. With FREE, Fraser and bandmates Paul Rodgers and Paul Kossoff crafted many of the band's international hits including the perennial “All Right Now.” Fraser returned as a solo artist in January 1984 with the surprising “Fine, Fine Line” on Island Records. , although, over the years, many notable acts have found greater success than the man himself with Fraser's songwriting skills including TED NUGENT, ROBERT PALMER (“Every Kinda People”), JOAN JETT, RANDY CRAWFORD, BOB SEGER, ROD STEWART, CHAKA KAHN and JOE COCKER. When Fraser later backed out of limelight to deal with personal issues, the Rock world wondered why such a legendary musician had seemingly retired. “Naked…And Finally Free” is the answer. A full track listing along with a shop where you can purchase each song is available at AndyFraser.com.
