If you are new to the Temecula Valley area you may not have found a "favorite" Italian restaurant yet so let us make a suggestions. try Anthony's Restaurant on Winchester Road in Temecula. While the view outside may change soon, once inside you'll enjoy the relaxing ambiance of white tablecloths, cozy tapestry covered booths and pampering wait staff.
Designed and built by former general contractor Tony Nanci and his son Tom, the relaxing atmosphere will add to your dining experience.
The food at Anthony's is based on authentic Nanci family recipes Tony's parents brought with them when they immigrated from Calabria, Italy in 1954. Their first restaurant opened in 1963 in Anaheim where their mother became the teacher. The twelve Nanci children were the students who were taught every aspect of becoming a restaurateur. Everything on the menu is homemade from the sausage, ravioli and lasagna, to the crepes used to make their manicotti and cannelloni, ricotta gnocchi and occasionally their fabulous Osso Buco. The menu included over 50 entrees from pasta, veal (vitello), chicken (pollo), seafood (pesce), antipasto, minestrone and other specialty dishes prepared by Chef To. "Daily specials" always include fresh fish of the day.
Regular patrons (casual dress is fine) know they can count on a "fast and fabulous" lunch in 30 to 45 minutes. If you are celebrating a special event such as an anniversary, birthday, rehearsal dinner or just a quite romantic evening out you'll feel
comfortable dressing up for dinner at Anthony's. Plans include expanding our banquet facilities with outdoor dining and a piano lounge sometime this year. Anthony's has recently acquired a full bar liquor license and wine list features over 150 Italian and domestic wines.
Anthony's Ristorante is a family owned restaurant named after Tom's son and Tony's grandson, Anthony. The tasteful decor also features a new painting of Tom's beautiful daughter, Jenna.
